Brief History of ISOS
In the 1980s, a plot of land was donated by Messrs Adam Moosa & Co (pty) Ltd and Heirs Umarji Ebrahim (founding members of ISOS) to build a Masjid in the heart of the Seychelles capital, Victoria. The construction of the Masjid was generously funded by His Excellency Sheikh Suroor bin Mohamed Al-Nahayan of Abu Dhabi who happened to be holidaying in Seychelles at that time. Building of the Mosque started in 1981 and was completed in September 1982
